2024 SOLD for CHF 15.7M

Philippe Dufour had been the pioneer of the integration of the grande and petite sonnerie and of the minute repeater, in a single pocket watch in 1989 and in a wristwatch in 1992.

Patents apply to are linked to the striking mechanism and to the jumping small seconds mechanism. The winding is manual. Its original price was CHF 1,150,000 including fees.

For the 2024 OnlyWatch Patek Philippe donated a unique similar watch in steel dated in that year, reference 6301A-010. It was sold for CHF 15.7M from a lower estimate of CHF 1.5M, lot 32. The sale was operated by Christie's in Geneva on May 10, 2024.

Talisman Origine by Richard Mille
SOLD for CHF 2.38M

Watch manufacturers have long understood that entrusting their best models to aviators, racers or mountain climbers was an effective way to demonstrate the reliability. The frantic move of the wrist of a tennis champion was also a great idea, materialized in 2010 by a partnership between Richard Mille and Rafael Nadal.

Despite its thickness, 11.8 mm, the RM 027 was in period the lightest mechanical watch in the world : 13 grams, less than 20 grams including the strap. After being used for nearly one year by Nadal, it was sold for € 510K by Antiquorum for OnlyWatch on September 23, 2011.

This strategy of sponsoring a champion still feeds the contribution of the brand to OnlyWatch.

Yohan Blake is one of very few sprinters who are able to compete with Usain Bolt, his Jamaican fellow. He used an RM 038 adapted to meet his personal requirements. The new light alloys based on magnesium enhance the resistance to wear and heat. This skeleton watch with a tourbillon movement was involved in his successful participation at the Olympic Games in London in 2012, two silver medals behind Bolt and the gold in the 4 x 100 m. His watch was sold for € 350K by Antiquorum on September 28, 2013.

In 2021 the bespoke RM 067-02 of the Formula One driver Charles Leclerc painted in the colors of his flag was sold for CHF 2.1M, lot 45. That model was in period the lightest automatic watch of the Richard Mille collection.

The piece offered by Richard Mille in the 2024 OnlyWatch auction is neither a wristwatch nor a pocket watch but an original concept of talisman watch hanging to a necklace through a pair of horns, imagining the shamanic know how of some prehistoric tribe.

This unique Talisman Origine reference RM S14 has a case in satin finished red gold with elements in high grade titanium. The automatic winding tourbillon is skeletonised. Mysterious symbols are engraved.

It was sold for CHF 2.38M from a lower estimate of CHF 600K, lot 38.

Such an enigmatic piece follows the trend of the 2023 Devil's Horn released by Richard Mille in an edition of 50 under the reference RM 66.

Also made in red gold with titanium, this model has its bezel and caseback machined in the Richard Mille factory with Carbon TPT® which provides an almost damascened appearance. A red gold hand is holding the sign of the devil's horn finger gesture. The flying tourbillon is skeletonised.

An example was sold for CHF 850K before fees by Christie's on May 14, 2024, lot 23.

In 2024 and 2025 all the proceeds went to Cuba's public healthcare system. The Cuban president was actively participating.

In the 2024 auction on March 1, the top lot was a Cohiba humidor, sold for € 4.5M. This cube rotating on a base is filled with 500 cigars made of regular productions and special editions. It is illustrated in last position in the post shared by Cigar Aficionado.

  • Differences: The 'Éléphant Blanc' stands out for its historical tribute and exclusivity, potentially commanding a premium due to its one-off status. The Lot 130 example fetched the highest price, likely due to its ultra-low mileage and European provenance. Lot 331 sold for the lowest, possibly reflecting market conditions in 2024 or fewer custom options. Colors and interiors vary significantly, allowing for personal taste in comparisons.
  • Market Context: Prices reflect the rarity and desirability of these hypercars, with values holding strong post-production. For the upcoming sale, final price may vary based on bidding.

It comes with accompanying items like two Bugatti flight cases (including a technical manual), a car cover, tool bag with gloves, battery conditioner, spare wheels, and owner's manual. The car is sold on a bill of sale only (no registration) and is currently in Paris on a temporary import bond.

Compare Bolide to Chiron Super Sport

The Bugatti Bolide and Bugatti Chiron Super Sport are both pinnacle hypercars sharing the quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine and all-wheel-drive layout, but they diverge in focus: the Bolide is a track-only machine optimized for circuit performance with radical weight reduction and aerodynamics, while the Chiron Super Sport is a road-legal variant emphasizing extreme top-speed capability and refined grand touring. The Bolide's production run is capped at 40 units, compared to 30 for the Chiron Super Sport 300+ (a special edition of the Super Sport that set the 304 mph production car record). 2024 Shohei Ohtani Baseball
2024 SOLD for $ 4.4M by Goldin

Shohei Ohtani made his professional debut in the Japanese baseball league in 2013, aged 19. He joined the MLB in 2018 with the Los Angeles Angels and was transferred in 2024 to the Los Angeles Dodgers. He plays with Team Japan in international tournaments.

In 2021 he scored 46 home runs and 26 stolen bases in a single season.

After undergoing Tommy John surgery in late 2023, Ohtani signed a record $700 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 2024, focusing solely on hitting due to recovery, he created the unprecedented "50/50 club" by becoming the first player ever to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in a single season, doing so in dramatic fashion with a 6-for-6, three-homer game on September 19 in the seventh inning of the Dodgers against the Miami Marlins.

That feat of power and speed was acclaimed by baseball fans as the founding of a symbolic 50/50 Club. The 40/40 club is listing 6 batters.

The baseball of his 50th 2024 homer reached a dining area beyond the field. Its lucky finder was escorted by ballpark security immediately and had it authenticated and signed by the official MLB commissioner Rob Manfred. The place were hit is visible on the ball. It was sold for $ 4.4M by Goldin on October 23, 2024, lot 1. Please watch the video shared by the auction house.

Ohtani finished the 2024 season by playing in 159 games, with a .310 batting average, 54 home runs, 130 RBI and 59 stolen bases.

2024 Pagani Utopia
2025 SOLD for CHF 3.3M by RM Sotheby's

A Pagani Utopia made in 2024 was sold for CHF 3.3M from a lower estimate of CHF 2.3M by RM Sotheby's on October 11, 2025, lot 121.

Compare with other Pagani models.

The Pagani Utopia is Pagani Automobili's third hypercar model (following the Zonda and Huayra), unveiled in 2022 as the successor to the Huayra. It represents Horacio Pagani's vision of blending analog driving purity with modern performance, featuring a Mercedes-AMG-sourced 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 producing 852–864 hp (depending on configuration) and up to ~1,100 Nm of torque. Key highlights include:
  • Transmission options: 7-speed manual (a rarity in modern hypercars) or automated manual (Xtrac).
  • Lightweight construction: Carbon-titanium monocoque, extensive use of Carbo-Titanium and aerospace-grade materials; dry weight ~1,280 kg.
  • Performance: 0-100 km/h in ~2.7–3.0 seconds, top speed over 370 km/h.
  • Production: Strictly limited to 99 units (plus a few prototypes/one-offs), emphasizing bespoke craftsmanship, aerodynamics without active elements, and timeless design inspired by classic Paganis.
The specific example referenced is a 2024 Pagani Utopia (chassis s/n ZA9U11EC9YSF76024), sold at RM Sotheby's Tailored for Speed Collection auction in Zurich on October 11, 2025, Lot 121. It achieved CHF 3,267,500 (including buyer's premium; approximately $4.06 million USD at the time), well above its pre-sale estimate of CHF 2.4–2.8 million. This low-mileage car (~48 km driven) was part of a high-profile single-owner collection and performed strongly in a record-breaking sale (CHF 70 million total gross, 100% sell-through).
Comparison with Other Pagani Models (Auction Context)

Pagani values have risen dramatically in recent years due to extreme rarity, bespoke nature, and collector demand. Here's how the Utopia stacks up against the Zonda and Huayra in public auction results (focusing on recent/high-profile sales as of early 2026):
  • Pagani Zonda (1999–2019 production, ongoing one-offs/refurbishments):
    • The "grandfather" model, with production far more limited and fragmented (various series like Cinque, Tricolore, 760 LM, etc.).
    • Auction performance: Often the highest tier. Recent standouts include a 2014 Zonda 760 LM Roadster at $11,086,250 (RM Sotheby's Dubai, Dec 2024; record for any Pagani at public auction) and a 2006 Zonda Riviera at $10,130,000 (RM Sotheby's Abu Dhabi, Dec 2025). Standard/special Zondas typically fetch $5–11 million+, with one-offs pushing boundaries.
    • Why higher? Proven collectibility over decades, historical significance, and ultra-low surviving numbers make top examples outperform newer models.
  • Pagani Huayra (2011–2022 production, variants ongoing):
    • The direct predecessor, with more units built (~300 total across coupe/roadster/BC/R variants) but still highly exclusive.
    • Auction performance: Strong but generally below top Zondas. Recent examples include a 2021 Huayra Roadster BC at CHF 4,476,875 (~$5.57 million USD; same 2025 Zurich sale, 33/40 built, low miles), a 2018 Huayra Roadster at $3,415,000 (Broad Arrow Amelia 2025), and standard Huayras around $3–3.5 million (e.g., 2014 at $3.33 million Mecum 2026). Track-focused Huayra R variants sold for €3–CHF 2.4 million range.
    • Comparison to Utopia: Similar or slightly higher for rare BC/Roadster BC variants; standard Huayras align closely with Utopia's ~$4 million result.
  • Pagani Utopia (2022–present):
    • Newest model, earliest public sales emerging.
    • Auction performance: This 2024 example at CHF 3.267 million (~$4.06 million) is the primary (and so far most notable) public result, reflecting strong demand for a near-new, ultra-low-mileage car. Original MSRP was around $3–3.5 million (depending on spec), so the auction premium shows early appreciation.
    • Position: Sits between standard Huayras and premium variants/special Zondas. As production nears completion (99 units), values could rise with scarcity, though it lacks the decades-long provenance of Zondas.
Key Takeaways
  • Value Hierarchy (recent auctions): Top Zondas (especially one-offs/specials) → Rare Huayra variants (BC, Roadster BC) → Utopia/standard Huayras → base Huayras.
  • Why the Utopia performed well: Low mileage, part of a prestigious collection, and the model's fresh appeal (manual option, analog focus) in a market favoring exclusivity. It exceeded estimates significantly, signaling collector enthusiasm for Pagani's latest.
  • Market Context: Pagani averages high among modern hypercars (~$4–5 million+ across models), driven by artisanal build quality over raw performance stats. Zondas appreciate most due to age/rarity; Utopia, as the current flagship, may follow suit as fewer remain available and miles accumulate.
All three embody Pagani's ethos: handcrafted art on wheels with Mercedes-AMG power and unmatched detailing. The Utopia bridges the brand's heritage with modernity, but auction results show Zondas still command the ultimate premiums for now. If you're evaluating for collection or investment, provenance, specification, and mileage matter enormously in this ultra-exclusive segment.

2024 Aston Martin Valkyrie
2025 SOLD for CHF 2.7M by Broad Arrow

Aston Martin Valkyrie. Compare two cars : 2023 (sold for $ 3.1M by RM Sotheby's on March 8, 2024, lot 141) and 2024 (sold for CHF 2.7M by Broad Arrow on November 1, 2025, lot 115)

The Aston Martin Valkyrie is an ultra-exclusive hybrid hypercar, co-developed with Red Bull Advanced Technologies and F1 legend Adrian Newey. It features a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter Cosworth V12 engine (producing around 1,000–1,014 hp) combined with a hybrid system (adding ~160 hp from an electric motor and battery), for a total output of 1,160–1,176 hp and approximately 680–900 Nm of torque (depending on exact figures from sources). It's paired with a 7-speed single-clutch automated manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, and a lightweight carbon-fiber structure.
Key specs include:
  • Dry weight: ~1,270–1,385 kg (very low for its power).
  • 0-60 mph: Under 3 seconds (often cited as ~2.5–2.9 seconds).
  • Top speed: ~220 mph (electronically limited).
  • Production: Limited to 150 road-legal coupés (plus Spiders and track variants like AMR Pro).
Both cars in question are early-production road-legal coupés (not Spiders or track-only versions), so they share the same core technical specifications and performance.Comparison of the Two Specific Auctioned Examples
  • 2023 Aston Martin Valkyrie Coupé (RM Sotheby's, Dubai, March 8, 2024, Lot 141):
    • Sold for $3,070,625 USD (approximately £2.4M or equivalent at the time).
    • Very low mileage: 123 km (76 miles).
    • Described as original and highly original condition.
    • Chassis example: SCF4KRB41PGS70051.
    • This was one of the earlier deliveries, sold in a high-profile Middle Eastern market auction.
  • 2024 Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider (Broad Arrow, Zurich, November 1, 2025, Lot 115):
    • Sold for CHF 2,706,250 (Swiss Francs), which equates to roughly $3.1–3.4 million USD depending on exchange rates at the time (CHF 2.7M was a strong result, often reported in context as over $3M or ~$3.4M equivalent in some summaries).
    • This is a Spider (convertible/roadster variant with removable roof), not a coupé.
    • It was the second-highest sale at the auction (behind a Jaguar D-Type).
    • The query specifies "2024" and the CHF 2.7M price matching this exact Broad Arrow lot, but note the body style difference: the Spider variant is rarer and often commands a premium due to open-top appeal, though production is even more limited.
Key Comparison Points
  • Body Style — The 2023 example is a fixed-roof coupé; the 2024 is a Spider (open-top). This is the primary difference, as the Spider offers a more visceral experience with wind/roof removal but similar performance.
  • Model Year & Delivery — 2023 vs. 2024 likely reflects delivery/registration timing rather than major spec changes (Valkyrie production is ongoing with minimal year-to-year updates).
  • Sale Prices — The 2023 coupé sold for $3.07M USD in 2024. The 2024 Spider fetched CHF 2.7M ($3.1M+ USD equivalent) in late 2025. Prices are comparable in USD terms, with the Spider potentially benefiting from convertible desirability despite a later market (hypercar values have fluctuated with deliveries, reliability reports, and market conditions).
  • Mileage & Condition — Both appear low-mileage/near-new, typical for Valkyries at auction (many are collector-owned with minimal use).
  • Market Context — Valkyrie auction results vary: e.g., other 2023–2024 examples sold for ~$2.6M–$3.4M USD depending on spec, location, and variant. The Spider often sees strong demand. Overall, these two represent top-tier results for the model, reflecting its status as one of the most extreme road-legal hypercars.
Both exemplify the Valkyrie's extreme design: F1-inspired aerodynamics, track-honed handling, and mind-bending performance in a road-usable package. If you're comparing for purchase or investment, note that Spiders may hold or gain value differently due to exclusivity, while coupés offer more enclosed usability. Values remain strong but can be influenced by ongoing production deliveries and service history.
